juan rants:
Boomz
LOL. My initial blog title was "Jog + MC + Nike+ Human Race 2009". Haha. But i think it's too long for a title. Hence, the new title of "Boomz". Why? Becoz "Boomz" can describe and can be used for everything man. Wahahaa. The newest and most popular singlish word now. courtesy of Ris Low. LOL.
Im just too random le... Hahaa!
went for a jog last sun. think around 6+ km? stamina super lousy though, took super long and jogged super slowly with many many breaks in between. LOL. this sat is the nike+ human race 2009 somemore. then now im sick too. die liao. hahaa!
but! the jog was interesting though:
Number 1:
saw 3 foreign workers fishing with a big fish net at the canal. each successful catch would be many fishes in the net. on 1 catch, a fish dropped out of the net and landed on the dry part of the canal. the fish struggled and try to flip it's way back to the water. nearly made it but it flipped in the other direction and got disoriented. hmm, fish struggled and didn't give up. kind of motivating though, what i saw. but kind of sad that the fish didn't make it back to the water...
Number 2:
saw a fight at the traffic junction. i saw 2 guys, 1 30+ big guy and an uncle. uncle had blood all over his face man. blood was all over his shirt and a bit on his shorts. dunno what happen. but it was a lot of blood sia... they were still trying to fight when i saw them. the 30+ guy's fren held back the uncle and a passerby helped too. fren retreated with the 30+ guy and all of them went on their way.
passerby-s passed tissues to the uncle. the whole tissue soaked up the blood and he threw them on the ground... a lot of blood sia... and i think it was still flowing... crazy humans... i saw splatters of reddish brown stuff on the ground ytd nite too. think it was the uncle's blood...
Number 3:
saw kids doing cartwheels at the playground. super cool. very cute lor. hahaa!
started to fall sick on mon. started work at 1pm on tues, so went to see the doc on tues afternoon. went to work after that. and stayed until 6+ am to help out for a task (deadline: wed 5am)... crazy right? haha. for the 2nd time in my whole life. i used a mc. hahaa. unbelievable right? the 1st time i used a mc is when i got chicken pox in lower primary school. lol...
got a bit worse when i woke up on wed. had a worse cough and sorethroat in addition to flu and blocked nose. went to see another doc (original clinic was closed) on wed nite and got another mc. woke up on thurs nite and decided to rest at home. how to run nike human race in such a condition?? lol.
tadaa. for after more then 10yrs since i used a mc. i mc-ed for 2 days. hahaa! back to work tmr!
i need to jia you for this sat man... for the nike run... i want to complete 10km! hmm, still not sure if we are going for the renaissance family day on sat after the run too. at the marina barrage.
