juan rants:
Festive Season!
lol... been more then a mth plus since i last updated. here's a super long update!
anyway, i had a lot of fun during last dec, with all the hols. felt super festive esp during the last few wks of dec with xmas and new yr coming. hahaa, had to admit that i wasn't super productive during that time too. lol.
xmas eve:
had a very packed xmas eve. worked for half a day and we went back to our main office for our xmas celebration. my tepl ex-colleagues were there too! lol, i really like such gatherings, where every1 are all there together, lol, just like The Arena CHT event, haha. this yr's xmas celebration was way better then last yr's too. lol, we had a super nice lunch buffet, cocktails and home made ice cream! whoo! hahaa. i forgot to eat the ice cream though. lol.
lol, the cocktails and ice cream were once brought to our proj office too, each for a end of the mth celebration, organised by our proj admin. carrine helped to organise our main office xmas celebration for this yr too. hahaa, super cool.
hmm, drank a mango magarita and i think 2-3 cocktails? lol, not bad, better then the ones we had at our proj office. oh yar, finally got to met hm's bf that day lor... after so long... hahaa! played pool with my 3 of my female proj mates. lol, sarah so pro lor... beauutifuul shots sia! those angle-hit-the-table-at-several-corners type shots! whoo! nv judge a bk by its cover lei. lol, and u still say ur a amatuer... hahaaa!
went to shokudo to meet my tepl-internship-shifu: sl along with some of the other folks from tepl. lol, its been a such a long time since i saw her lor. i think the last time i saw her was in aug last yr? hahaa. chatted with them for a while and went to meet mel, euquin and cg after that for mel's and euquin xmas shopping.
walked around in rct for a while and we went to ps after that to continue. lol. went back home after that, changed and went to jp and met up with yan and fiz for xmas eve dinner. lol. went to fig&olive. hmm, food was ok i suppose. hahaa. walk around jp for a while and i went to meet kel & his frens at The Arena after that.
manage to reach there in time for the countdown. sat down and soak in the atmosphere, performances on the stage and the music. drank a bit of vodka from kel's bottle and 3 std drinks. dotz. kel passed me 1 of his and gave his 2nd std drink to a stranger. lol. i think i still prefer bourbon coke. haha. went home after that by cab and zonked out straight. lol.
new yr eve:
we had half day for new yr's eve too. lol, went ice skating with a few of my proj mates at around 1plus. with jh driving us 5 gals in his grey mazda2 to kallang from our office. my 1st time at ice skating and how did i find it? fun!! hahaa. felt super scary at 1st, super difficult to balance and move. but i got the hang of it after 3/4 of our 2hr session. i didn't fall too! lol, let's go again! hahaa, or anybody for ice skating? hmm, having roller blading exp really helps too. hahaa, although i dun really know how to roller blade too, except to roll and move. =P
jh then drove and dropped us at city hall mrt. thz! the 5 of us then went back to rct for mel to check for her pass and namecard. lol, and in the end we went to play foosball and pool in the office. hahaa! and we discovered yet another 1 of mel's talent too, foosball! lol, she's super gd lor, esp at attacking! lol, went to play pool after that. haha, very fun. and sarah displayed her pool prowess yet again! lol, super cool! haha! lol, oh yar, me and mel were playing rubik's for the whole day too. hahaa. all of us went back after that, saw sarah's bf, and i went to meet my family.
we went to hotpot culture at marina square for a buffet dinner. lol, nice! haha, anybody want to go there to eat? lol, long queue though. went outside marina square to wait for the countdown to 2009 fireworks at marina bay's floating platform. hahaa! fireworks were great man!! lol, esp the ending! explosive! =D lol, and it was 2009!
lol, going to the city hall mrt was a squeeze lor. with so many ppl there for the count down. haha, but surprisingly, there were seats on the train back home.
xmas and new yr:
lol, slacking at home for the whole day! hahaa. sian. why it rain today... i wanted to go for my 1st jog of 2009! haha! =P
