juan rants:
3/4 Glass
lol... 1wk since i posted... haha... got a lot of stuff tat im thinking of posting over tis past wk... lol, but most of them i forget le... haha... so here are the 'highlights'... lol...
sun, nov18:
went our with kai and christine to central at clarke quay... lol... same old routine but fun... lol...
wed, nov28:
lol, wats-after-sp career talk and r2 celebration! haha... lol... super fun day...
went to club, had a chat with christine, went to the talks, met up with kai&christine, went to take a super long bus to CHIJMES. really wondering whether i can go to uni IT course not... darn sian...
met up with the rest of the web team at CHIJMES at La Viva Spanish Restaurant & Tapas Bar. lol... got a neon green sticker with a number... haha, to count the total no of ppl who went and not a lucky draw no... lol! hmm... think got at least 60+ ppl go... we reach there quite late... so no space inside, then the few of us outcasts went again to sit in a isolated corner without even a table. haha! lol...
hmm... waitress came... told us the drinks options... very indecisive bout wat to drink... then when i wanted to ask wat soft drinks they have, tommy asked, 'shwa juan, want to try red wine?' lol. me: 'ok.' haha.! and tadaa! red wine for sj. lol... hmm... after our drinks came... we had some 'sharing session' by the 'higher powers'... haha... some debrief and background abt release 2 and the upcoming release... lol...
hmm... then halfway thru, i got super thristy, nv drink from 3 plus till 7plus becoz forgot to refill bottle at work... haha! then start drinking the red wine... hmm... then after a while, thristy, then a bit boring, then drink again, 1 mouthful at 1 time... then drink down each mouthful bit by bit until swallow whole mouthful. at the end of the 'short' sharing session and employee recognition thingy, congrats to anson and alex! hmm, not sure if i got miss any1 out... haha... i drink abt 3/4 glass finish le? lol...
went to queue for the hors d'œuvres at the counter after tat... while walking there, start to feel a bit high le… lol… then a bit light headed… haha! But im not drunk la. Still can work 1 straight line and everything… lol… dunno how every1 can tell also… haha… even seok ling also ask whether im high… lol! hmm… think maybe is the way I act, happy happy 1… maybe is the occasion and the atmosphere… lol… 1st time come to such places… lol… I think whole web team know I ‘high’ after ¾ lor… haha…
te food very nice… i like the mushrooms with sauce, tomatoes on toast thingy and you tiao like thingy tat u can put chocolate, esp… haha… after tat we basically jus chat and drink, chat and drink… lol… until the web team(us) toasted… haha… then came the part where every1 need to drink like those kind, i drink 1 glass straight down u drink 1 glass straight down kind… haha… fortunately i manage to somehow ‘escape’, haha!
after tat, all of us left at 10+... me, tommy, nicole, alex, anson and habs went to eat supper at some dou jiang you tiao thingy... chia lee wanted to send me home with gavin and sze jen 1 lor... lol... then tommy giv all the dumb reasons... lol! anyway... had fun tis supper too... all the weird weird conver like chicken and gf/bf... haha!
conclusion? had lots of fun today... lol... great 1st experience... haha... learn lots of stuff too... lol, will update the rest in my next post...
